How To Train a Dog
Obedience training is one of the most important aspects of raising a dog.
First, I'm going to write about the dogs behavior. Before training the dogs, we sure need to know whether is that dog has any of the behavior problems.
Separation Anxiety
This will happen is because the dog is separate with the owner too long period. The signs of your dog may suffer from separation anxiety :
~ Dogs become extreamly distressed when the owner left the house and leave him a lot
~ They may injured themselves
~ Bark continuously when the owner is away
~ Become destructive and do consideration traning
When this happens, the best results are achieved with behavioral interventions supplemented by medication.
Aggression
Canine aggression is a serious problem.
When aggression occurs, it is better to :
~ Consult an animal behaviorist or a trainer to assess the situation
~ Socialize your dog well
~ Don't allow your puppy to growl and snap because it's cute; discourage that from the start
Garbage Scavenging
A dog's perspective is different. They are exploring and enjoying new tastes and smells. But sometimes the garbage contains of chemical, bacteria-laden food and sharp objects that can cause serious harm.
It is best to securely latch garbage cans and remove them from the dog's area or if you catch your dog in the act, say, "No," and reward his compliance with praise -- not food.
Basic Training
Sit
This is one of the simplest dog obedience commands to instruct, so it’s a good one to begin with.
- Hold a treat near to your dog’s nose.
- Move your hand up, allowing him to follow the treat and causing his bottom to lower.
- When he’s in sitting position, say “Sit,” give him the treat, and offer warmth.
Repeat this sequence a couple of times each day until your dog has it mastered.
Come
This command can help keep your dog out of trouble, bringing him back to you if you lose your hand on the chain or accidentally leave the front door open.
- Put a leash and collar on your dog.
- Go down to his level and say, “Come,” while gently pulling on the leash.
- When he gets to you, reward him with love and a treat.
Stay
Before start this one, ensure your dog is an expert at the “Sit” command.
- First, ask your dog to “Sit.”
- Then open the palm of your hand in front of you, and say “Stay.”
- Make a couple steps back. Reward him with a treat and love if he stays.
- Steadily increase the number of steps backs you take before giving the treat.
- Always reward your pup for staying put — even if it’s just for a few seconds.
That good!! now I can train my dog well with all the step.
